The coming elections are neither going to be in the public interest nor will it be in the national interest. The era of politics of cooperation has now ceased, their own allies who supported to form the government have started behaving like rivals. They does not want to make any friend and even the opposite parties will not be friends with them. In a non-communal language, insolent behavior and contaminated ideology of the politicians have ruined the nation and it is due to this corruptive thoughts and mindset that now running the country has become extremely difficult. Modi has also given a speech on the politics of cooperation in the Parliament, but after this he never welcomed the opposition again.
According to the recent survey by India Today -the graph of popularity of leaders like Rahul Gandhi has tremendously increased in comparison to the BJP's single face, Narendra Modi and why it may not be increased, Narendra Modi has himself repeatedly taken the name of Congress back and forth in his every speech and political rallies which ultimately proved beneficial for increasing the popularity of Rahul Gnadhi. He himself has promoted Congress more and taken the name of his own party BJP less. The name of the Congress was taken more frequently and it is due to this reason that Congress instead of fading away from the hearts and minds of people managed to retain its popularity . Congress works on the philosophy " So what we are defamed yet we are popular and the most named and known party in this country".
The people who accused Modi of bringing down the name of BJP expressed more rage against Modi than the working of whole BJP party. They blamed him for the allegations related to the times of his government in Gujarat. This gave Modi popularity, but somewhere BJP as a political party was hidden behind Modi's name. In a way, both Congress and BJP continued to cooperate and support each other in order to improve their popularity either by defaming or saying good things about each other. In the rallies of BJP, Rahul Gandhi continued to be a topic of mockery for the BJP leaders and somewhere Rahul Gandhi's popularity was increasing significantly while on the other side Modi was often seen in the Congress rallies. The only difference was Rahul gandhi's dicussion about Modi's way of running government was not an important or interesting topic but on contrary Modi was always targeting and mocking Rahul Gandhi for his immature actions and thoughts and this created lots of buzz in the media and public. This behavior proves that somewhere the Prime Minister of India considers Rahul to be a real opponent.
Surprisingly, till yesterday, the people who were depressed with the working of previous government suddenly saw a ray of hope in the form of Modi and inspite of doing so much work for the welfare of public and national interest, the public is seeing Rahul Gandhi as the future of the country. A country that witnessed the leadership of personalities like Indira Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Chandrasekhar, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and finally Modi. How can the people imagine giving power to a person like Rahul Gandhi who still do not know what to speak or how to behave.
It would be better for the people to reconsider their decision and remember that no leader is born immortal. They all have to at one point leave the power and the ruling seat of which they were once proud of and to fill that emptiness a new face will be needed on which the whole country can trust. It would be better if Rahul should spend a some time in understanding the politics by sitting in the opposition and not be given the command of the country because right now is not capable of taking effective decisions and he must be given some time to actually understands how politics works and what are the responsibilities of a leader. Sometimes the opponents are able to understand few things that even your close wellwishers could never understand.
